Negros Occidental is undeniably one of the best places to
visit.
There is this interesting new place in Silay City simply called Punong(pond) Gary’s Place
Punong is a property owned by Side A band’s bassist Joey Benin
and his wife Bing. Located in as far as your eyes can see hacienda in the beautiful city of Silay, the road to the resto is a
smooth terrain amidst, what else?, sugarcane plantations until you reach the
place.
One has to make reservations inorder to dine as the place
have gathered a handful of patrons even if it opened to the public just a
liitle between second and third quarter of 2015.
Batchoy Republic came there with a special reservation for
lunch arranged for the group of ace film director Brillante Mendoza.
As expected, the food preparation did not disappoint, and
were especially prepared by the Benin couple themselves. From the appetizer to
the dessert, it was perfection.
The home-made ice cream and banana turon is just perfect to
cap the meal.

One can wander around the area and explore the magnificent sorroundings.And just simply enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of the place.
